To be as informed as possible about the candidates running for statewide office during this election season I have visited the State Ethics Commission’s website. Each candidate is supposed to submit their campaign finance report to the State Ethics Commission by a set date before the election. This is to ensure that they are following state laws regarding campaign contributions.
