Recently, South Carolina city and county councils have been deliberating about creating smoke-free city and counties. At times, the debate has been quite heated between councils and businesses.
The next few postings will look back at the history of tobacco in South Carolina and then turn to focus on the fate of tobacco in the Palmetto State.
