Ceips Wins Senate Seat

According to the State Election Commission’s website, Representative Catherine Ceips has defeated challenger Weston Newton in the Republican Runoff for the Senate District 46 seat.
Ceips will now face off against Democrat Terry Thomas and Libertarian Greg Graziani.

Republican candidates Catherine Ceips and Weston Newton will square off in a Runoff for the Senate District 46 seat. Below are the results of the Special Primary Election. The winner of the Special Republican Runoff would face Democrat Terry Thomas and Libertarian Greg Graziani on June 19th.
