Senate District 44 Republican Runoff

Paul Campbell has defeated Shirley Hinson in the Senate District 44 Republican Runoff. Campbell managed to garner 65.3% of the votes in Berkeley County. Campbell will challenge John West in the Special Election on August 7.

Ravenel Arraignment Rescheduled

According to WLTX in Columbia, Thomas Ravenel’s arraignment has been rescheduled to July 6th. Ravenel is not expected to appear at his arraignment due to his enrollment in a drug treatment facility in Arizona.
